COVID UPDATE
The Wrangell Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was notified on January 6, 2022, of seven (7) new positive COVID cases.
These cases are all Wrangell Residents. They have been contacted and are isolating.
Our current case count is at thirty (30).
- If you have symptoms or are a close contact, call Wrangell Medical Center at 907-874-7000 to schedule an appointment to get a free COVID-19 test.
- Free COVID-19 testing is available for individuals that do not have ANY symptoms at the testing trailer in the Clinic parking lot Monday -Saturday noon-4pm. No appointment is necessary.
- If you have not received your test results within 72 hours, please contact the SEARHC COVID-19 Hotline daily from 8am-5pm at 907-966-8799.

Please take individual steps to protect yourself and your family.
- Isolate yourself if you feel any cold-like symptoms and get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible.
- Avoid crowded places and gatherings; keep social circles small.
- Stay at least 6 feet away from people outside of your household.
- Have a mask on when you are around people outside of your household – even if you can maintain a 6-foot distance from others.
- Take advantage of free, asymptomatic testing and test regularly.
- Wash your hands often and disinfect commonly touched surfaces and objects.
