Visit Chief Shakes Island and Tribal House, Kik-setti Totem Park and Wrangell Museum for a glimpse into Tlingit Natives way of life. Take in a round of golf at Muskeg Meadows Golf Course;; Hike up to Rainbow Falls or stop and pick the abundant wild blueberries, huckleberries and salmonberries A jetboat tour of the Stikine River offers beautiful clear water tributaries, Shakes Glacier with its free-floating icebergs and a history rich with tales of gold rush miners, not to mention a soak in the natural hot springs surrounded by the unmatched beauty of the wild. Anan Bear and Wildlife Observatoryis accessible by boat or plane. Anan Creek is an ancient Tlingit Native fishing site. The creek has the largest pink salmon run in Southeast Alaska, which attracts significant numbers of black and brown bears. Explore untouched corners of the Tongass National Forest.
