Wrangell City Ordinances Wrangell Municipal Code presented here is current through Ordinance #818 passed May 27, 2008. On June 1, 2008, the City of Wrangell incorporated as the City and Borough of Wrangell. The name of the City Clerk's Office is now the Borough Clerk's Office, with no changes made to the contact number, email address, or fax number. Changes made to the Wrangell Municipal Charter and Code to address the name change as well as other legal issues affected by the Borough incorporation will be made periodically. The public will be notified of those changes. In the meantime, the Wrangell Municipal Charter and Code is still the governing document for the City and Borough of Wrangell. The Borough Clerk's Office has the official version of the Wrangell Municipal Code.
