7:00 am Breakfast with the Birds Walk

Join local author and birder Bonnie Demerjian on a morning bird walk.  A continental breakfast is provided! Location:  Muskeg Meadows Golf Course

9:00 am Marine Debris Clean-up

Join us to help us keep our local shores clean and safe for wildlife.  SRBF guest Veronica Padula will join us to discuss the effects of marine debris while we clean-up our beaches.  Location: Meet at Heritage Harbor; beach pick-up may occur at various locations.   

10:00 am Angerman’s Inc & Outlet Golf Tournament

Entry fee: $25; Sign up by 9:45 am.  Location: Muskeg Meadows Golf Course. Membership Dinner follows at 6pm at Sourdough Lodge. Cost: $25

10:00 am –12:00 Wrangell Community Market

The first Community Market for 2015. View various artists’ handiwork and goodies for sale. Location: James & Elsie Nolan Center

11:30 am – noon Critter Craft: Bird Feeders

Stop by and make your very own bird feeder. Remember to bring your own hammer. Location: James & Elsie Nolan Center.  Sponsored by: Angerman’s Inc. and Outlet & US Forest Service

1:00 pm Migratory Shorebird Project: Connecting Communities of the Americas through Research for Conservation

Learn about this project from Dr. Matt Reiter, Quantitative Ecologist from Point Blue Conservation Science. Location: Nolan Center Small Classroom

6:00 pm Ducks Unlimited Banquet with No Host Cocktails
