JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN

The City of Wrangell Light & Power Department is seeking applications for the position of Journeyman Lineman. Requirements; perform all responsibilities required of journeyman status, including construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground distribution lines. Must have completed an apprenticeship program and have or be able to obtain a State of Alaska journeyman certificate of fitness card.  Must have a valid Alaska Drivers license with CDL or be able to obtain one within 30 days.  Possession of a valid First Aid/CPR card will be required.  You must possess the knowledge or be able to learn to operate diesel generators.  This is a small crew and strong teamwork is a must.
