The City and Borough of Wrangell will accept applications for the position of Fire Medic / Trainer through January 23rd, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The position will be posted for no less than 14-days and will remain open until filled. This is a permanent position with all City & Borough benefits.
The Fire Medic / Trainer is responsible for performing general duty firefighting, rescue, and responds to emergency calls to protect life and property. Participates in fire prevention activities that include but are not limited to fire inspection, fire investigation and public safety education, and emergency medical education programs such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
This is a Full-Time, hourly position with full benefits, paid at Grade 18 ranging from $26.00 per hour to $32.97 per hour.
