Deep Water Port Development Stakeholder Meeting

The City and Borough of Wrangell Economic Development Department is hosting a stakeholder meeting to discuss opportunities for development at the Deep-Water Port (former sawmill property) on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 5:30 PM.  

This meeting will be facilitated by members of the USDOT Thriving Communities program otherwise known as “The RAIB”. The City and Borough of Wrangell is an active participant in the Thriving Communities grant program, which provides two years of no-cost, intensive technical assistance to under-resourced and disadvantaged communities to help them identify, develop, and deliver transportation projects to achieve locally-driven economic development, health, environment, mobility, and access goals.

The Economic Development Board, Port and Harbor Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Assembly may have a quorum present. No action shall be taken.
