Wrangell Municipal Code and Home Rule Charter

The Wrangell Municipal Code is a codification of the general ordinances of the City and Borough of Wrangell.

The Home Rule Charter of the City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska, exercises the powers of home rule granted to the borough by the constitution and laws of the State of Alaska, which lists the name, transition, boundaries, form of government, powers and interpretation.

The borough government is a unified home rule borough established by the voters.

The borough shall operate under an "assembly-manager form of government."
