Scheduled Power Outage

NEWS RELEASE AS OF 2/24/2020 2:15 p.m.

A planned Power Outage has been scheduled for

Wednesday February 26th, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.

A planned power outage has been scheduled for Wednesday February 26th, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., and will affect the following areas:

Starting at the corner of Front St. where The Magnolia Bar and Pink and White Salon is located and all stores on the right-hand side until Angerman’s Clothing. (Please Note:  This power outage will only be affecting one side of Front St.) Continuing over to Samson Tug & Barge, The Entire Blue Building where Napa Auto is located, The Stikine Inn, all along Stikine Ave. as well as most homes on Fort St. and most homes in or around Cow Alley/Church St.  This planned power outage is being scheduled to perform mandatory line maintenance.   

Please see attached MAP of the areas that will be affected.

This scheduled power outage will affect the following Business’s:

The Stikine Inn Hotel & Restaurant, The Wrangell Chamber Office, Native Roots, The Entire Blue Building where Napa Auto is located including, Alaska Charters & Adventures, Breakaway Adventures, B&B Brock, Alaska Vistas, Samson Tug & Barge, Angerman’s Clothing & Apparel, Angerman’s Specialties, Buness Brothers, Alaska Power & Telephone, ACIS Dental Clinic, Ottesen’s True Value (Not Warehouse), The Totem Bar, J & W’s, 56 North, Stikine Drug Store, Michelle’s Taste of Asia, The Busy Beehive, Magnolia Bar & Pink and White Salon, Wrangell Petersburg Insurance and On Point Boutique.
