Division of Motor Vehicles office is located on the second floor of the public safety building.

FRIDAY- OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -TSA Precheck, TWIC cards and HME hazmat endorsement. 1/24/25 Non-Commercial Road tests

Wrangell DMV does not charge the $10 fee to renew vehicle registrations in person.

A resident 65 year of age or older on the date the registration is due is entitled to one free registration. 

REAL ID  - DEADLINE EXTENDED

Beginning May 7, 2025 a REAL ID will be required to board aircraft and to access federal facilities. Bring in the required documentation to the local Wrangell office to receive yours.  Don't wait!   Apply Tuesday through Thursday.
