US Capitol Tree Event Road Closure and Parking Restrictions
MCKINNON STREET AND CAMPBELL DRIVE PARKING AND ROAD CLOSURE
Please be advised that due to the upcoming US Capitol Tree Event, there will be a temporary road closure and parking restrictions in place beginning at 8:00 PM Friday, October 25th through 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th, 2024.
- Road Closure: On Saturday, October 26th McKinnon Street will be barricaded off so that the truck and trailer carrying the tree can make it to the Nolan Center for the events. Additionally, Campbell Drive will be closed to traffic at the intersections of Brueger Street and Campbell Drive.
- Campbell Drive Parking Restrictions: Parking will be prohibited along Campbell Drive (Outer Drive) northwest and east of the Nolan Center to accommodate the tree.
- Recommended Parking: Please utilize the back parking lot of the Nolan Center along Brueger Street (behind City Market, do not park in the Marine Service Center) or other downtown parking areas.
Please refrain from parking in these areas on the days and times listed above.
