PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

For immediate release: December 31, 2024

Intersection 4-Way Stop Change

To safeguard students and all pedestrians, the Borough is changing the intersection of St. Michaels Street and Church Street (top side of City Market Hill, next to KSTK) from a 2-way stop to a 4-way stop, effective Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. 

Currently, only motorists on St. Michaels Street are expected to stop at this intersection. 

Beginning January 7th, 2025, motorists on St. Michaels Street AND motorists on Church Street will be required to stop at this intersection.

Drivers are encouraged to pay attention and exercise caution with this change.

The Borough appreciates your understanding and cooperation as we implement this critical traffic safety change.
