Tourism Stakeholder Meeting

The Economic Development Department will host a pre-season Tourism Stakeholder Meeting on Thursday, May 1, @ 9:00 AM in the Nolan Center. This meeting is intended for businesses that operate within or provide services to the Tourism Industry. This includes tribal partners, agency partners, tour operators, accommodation providers, restaurants, and other related businesses and organizations.
Staff from the Economic Development, Nolan Center, Parks & Recreation, Ports & Harbors, Public Works, Public Safety Departments, and Management will be present at the meeting. There may be a quorum of the Wrangell Convention and Visitors Bureau and/or Economic Development Board. No action will be taken at this meeting.

- Waterfront Master Plan update
- Private-public partnership opportunities
- Cruise ship schedule distribution
- Review of transportation and staging logistics
- Tourism Best Management Practice partner agreements
- Updates on in-market visitor amenities and information
- Visitor survey plans and procedures
- Travel Guide distribution plans
- Marketing updates
