Wrangell has several Parks and Playgrounds throughout the city and borough.
Shoemaker Bay Recreational Area
Volunteer Park and Ball Fields
Other recreational areas and facilities offered for public use:
Outdoor Shooting Range - located on Ishiyama Drive (Spur Road), just past the golf course. This facility has two ranges, one long and one short, as well as a skeet shooting area for self-launched clay pigeons.
Petroglyph Beach State Historic Park
The U.S. Forest Service's Wrangell Ranger District, located in the Tongass National Forest, also maintains road accessible picnicking, camping and hiking facilities on Wrangell Island, as well as cabins on the surrounding islands and on the mainland.
