Alder Top Village Community Survey

The City and Borough of Wrangell staff recently conducted a public survey to gather feedback on the sale of land at the Alder Top Village Subdivision. Using this feedback and extensive research, our team developed a proposal for the land sale. The proposal was presented at a public meeting in November 2023, outlining the two-part method for selling the land. Public comments from the meeting were considered in the final plan, which will be reviewed by the Economic Development Board on December 20th, 2023. They will then make a recommendation to the Borough Assembly as to how the land should be sold. The Borough is conducting a secondary survey to gather more input, and we invite you to participate to learn more about the proposal and share your thoughts.
