Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission: Funding Announcement for Fishing sectors
The Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission has announced that applications for fishery participants affected by COVID-19 in Alaska, Washington, California, Oregon, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Federally Recognized Tribes in Alaska, and Federally Recognized Tribes on the West Coast are now available.
Applicants will be responsible for downloading or printing their applications off this site. Applicants are encouraged to complete and submit their applications electronically. Electronically submitted applications must be uploaded by 4/30/2021 5pm PST. Alternatively, you may print, complete by hand, and submit the application through traditional mail methods, i.e USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc. All mailed applications MUST be received or at least postmarked on or before 4/23/2021 - ABSOLUTELY NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
NOAA is currently working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to identify potentially eligible subsistence users across Alaska. Once this task is completed, subsistence applications will become available.
Applications are available for Commercial harvesters, Seafood Processors, Sport Fishing charter, and Aquaculture.
